The 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Let us start with reduction. One way you can help the environment is to reduce the use of plastic. Instead of using a plastic bag at the grocery store, you can use a reusable bag. Instead of drinking out of a plastic water bottle, use a reusable bottle. instead of using plastic straws, you can use metal straws or paper straws. There are so many more things you can reduce the usage of, but for now, try these. Think of it this way: every reduction you make is one animal’s life not taken. Another way to help the environment is to reuse. If you can not reduce then you can reuse. Remember, be prepared, be aware, be an awareness spreader.
