Have you noticed how the temperature is gradually increasing? How the winter holidays are bursting with sunlight and warmth? How the snow on your winter ski vacations are fake? Every year the world warms by at least 1 degree Fahrenheit. All of this is happening because of Global Warming, which by definition is an aspect of climate change referring to the long-term rise of the planet’s temperatures. But remember, climate change isn’t only melting our winter, it’s also starting extreme hurricanes or floods which are taking many lives each year.  In 2003, immense heatwaves in Europe killed over 50,000 people! These waves were found to be directly linked to global warming. Then seven years later, similar waves were detected in Russia. These heat waves caused Russia’s food prices to increase and helped trigger the Arabian Spring. One of the biggest impacts of this century is going to be extreme droughts. This is from a study that happened in 2014 it looks at the probabilities of a 10-year mega-drought if we continue business as usual: it shows that Texas has a 75% chance and California has a 50% chance and the chances of a 5-year drought are much higher and there is also a small chance of a 35-year insane drought. However, we must not lose hope because together we can save the planet. Remember, be prepared, be aware, be an awareness spreader.

      Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I have been blogging for at this point 3 years, turning this blog into the marvelous thing that it has become has been a long process of trial and error. But all of the work has paid off and I am so happy that I am able to make a difference!

    First of all I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
    I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing.
    I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there.
    I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost
    simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips?

      Hi,
      So glad you enjoyed my blog! to answer your question my writing process usually starts with looking at pictures of the topic that I am about to write about. Then I will start researching and taking notes most times just the researching takes a few hours, so I do come back the next day and reread over my notes and then start writing.
